to Use HSC Library Databases

Go to http://hscc.www.kuniv.edu.kw/LIBRARY/

Move the cursor until
it’s on the word “Resources.” Five choices
will pop up. Click on the word “Databases.”

Choose a
database. MDConsult is a good one to
start with.
4.
There are two ways to
access MDConsult.
a.
Generic Edition
Click on “Open Generic Edition.”
Click on “Open Generic Edition.”
You may also click on the arrow next to
“Journal Search” to select reference books or other sources.
b.
Personal Edition
(extended features and content)
Click on “Get Your Own Personal Edition
Account Now.”
Enter your first name, any medical specialty,
and a profession.
Enter a word or phrase.
