Leo's good deeds(Taken from E!Online):Fulfilling a wish of a Chinese
gymnast who suffered a paralyzing injury in the Goodwill Games, he visited
the 17-year-old girl in her New York hospital room. The face-to-face confab
lasted about an hour. "It was a private visit," His publicist told the New York Daily News. "That's all we're going to say."
He reportedly postponed a flight to the West Coast to administer a little
Hollywood-tinged bedside manner.
Leo's on a do-gooder streak of late. He hosted a lunch for 9 terminally ill girls in Los Angeles.
The 17-year-old injured gymnast "is fascinated with American pop culture,"
a hospital spokeswoman said. "She told us she wanted to meet with Leonardo."
In-demand Leo got the word.
The meeting took place at the Manhattan-based rehab center. Lan suffered a broken neck in a botched vault jump. She's paralyzed from chest down.
She has received hundreds of get-well cards, some of which share
bulletin-board space in her hospital room with a picture of (who else?)
Leo.
