The following is from an email that was kindly sent to me by Owen Hamilton The Hamilton family on the list below, being his interest. My information tells me that the Helenslee was carrying 141 pasengers on board and Owen thinks that the rest were bound for Port Chalmers and I agree with him. If there is anyone who can confirm this for me I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance.
