Missing you
in my heart.
My thoughts are of you.
Wanting you here
to keep me safe
to hold me close.

I know you don't know
how I feel about you.
It's hard for me to explain
the feelings I have.
It makes things harder
when I don't open up.
I don't mean to confuse you.
You mean so much to me.
When we are apart,
all I do is think about you.
When I hear your voice,
it soothes my troubles.
Your touch comforts me.
Your kiss melts me.
You engulf me.
You are my everything!

I know I don't say
the words that you long to hear.
It scares you to think
that I don't love you.
The past shouldn't matter,
but I'm scared to let you in.
I know it's not fair to you.
Please, be patient.
I want to take it slow.
Things are going so quickly.
I am scared of losing you.
You aren't the Others...
Yes, I know this.
But my guard is up.
Please, understand this.
I never want to lose you.
We'll get through this.
Just know that I care...
And miss you so.
