All Amy ever wanted was a brother. It was just unfortunate that she had to lose her only other family to get one.

Liam O’Shaunessy, a tough Denver businessman, had kept a Journal for most of his life and when he died, he left his journals to his daughter hoping that they would explain to her why he had made certain decisions and maybe even give her her hearts fondest wish. Amy, standing barely 5’2” tall and waif thin, with waist length glossy black hair, almond shaped emerald green eyes shining hopefully from a beautiful face, her skin translucent porcelain, and sensuous pearl pink lips more often smiling than frowning, seemed to strangers to be a shy little rich girl, all manners and breeding, but friends knew her as a kind loving girl with an inner strength, deeply spiritual and with a strength of will and determination not matched by many men let alone the women of her time.

This very determination compelled her to find her new sibling and reveal to him the truth of his past, hoping against hope that he would believe his fathers words and put a past of hate and loathing behind him, ensuring that she would finally have the brother that she had always craved for.
