A river begins with a stream.
All the result of a drop of rain.
Success begins with a dream.
A step at a time to fortune and fame.
Eternity was once a day.
An hour, a minute, you see.
Chains of bondage are broken
with the strength of a desire to be free.
Paths of destruction are twisted,
turned by the force of hope.
Shouts of victory sound forth
Created from a struggle to cope.
Courage is birthed for to conquer
fear at it's greatest debut.
Tears of loneliness will cease
with the knowing the Savior who loves you.
His tormentors inflicted much pain.
They cursed and humiliated a man.
They had no clue to the reason He came.
Love brought Him here
and Love took Him home again.
His life as a carpenter was brief.
Yet, He reached out to all mankind.
The message He shared was simple.
It still echoes through the Halls of Time.
Listen,
and you can hear
the soft words spoken in love.
They are calling your name ever so gently.
"Come, oh, come
take the hand of My Son."
