Life

This maze in life has twists and turns.
And lessons that I have soon to learn.
There are challenges too, and half I fail,
But the other half... I live to tell.
Being a teenager has pressures in life.
Peer pressure is the worst,
It'll kill you like a back stabbed with a knife.
There's worries about friends and about grades,
And questions about that opposite sex that God made.
We have statements in our heads,
That we're told all the time.
Like, "Just say no!", or "Be home by nine!".
Teenagers aren't trusted.
We get blamed for things.
Even if it's the little things.
Yes, I do admit that we are sometimes bad.
But only when we get mad.
We don't do much, well not, everytime.
Only a few kill like at Columbine.
But please believe me when I say,
We can be the best any ol' day.
Just life for us is extremely hard,
And we don't mean it when we toilet paper your yard.
We do most things, just for fun,
But it wasnt when he picked up that gun.
Some can't handle life,
and they turn bad,
Just like Luke Skywalker's dad.
But in life, that only happens to a few.
So hear these words,
"May the force be with you."
