The Terror

  • Roger Corman wrote this while directing The Raven.

  • After directing The Raven, Roger Corman still had five days before the set was to be torn down, so he put it to good use. He shot most of The Terror in that time.

  • The movie had six directors. Roger Corman directed most of the movie, but he started another project, so he handed it over to his assistant, Francis Ford Coppola. He also became involved in other projects, so he handed it to someone else. It went through Monte Hellman, Jack Hill, Dennis Jacob, and then to Jack Nicholson, who also starred in it.
