The Mad MONK Beer Company was founded in September 1995 with first sales in April 1996. The Mad MONK Beer Company is owned, and the beer brewed by The Little Star Brewing Corporation in Birmingham, Alabama, where Mad MONK Beer is the primary concern. The Little Star Brewery was built in 1992 and has state of the art brewing equipment. The beer is brewed with only the finest malted barley, hops, and yeast. Birmingham’s excellent water supply is then filtered at the brewery for perfect brewing. We also use traditional European brewing methods to ensure rich taste. Mad MONK Beer, originally introduced in Cincinnati, OH, now has distribution in Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi. Mad MONK will soon enter the states of South Carolina, and Louisiana. Mad MONK has won silver medal awards at the World Beer Championships.
