About S.I.R.

We service/repair Aerobic systems that no longer function in accordance with DEQ standards as expressed in the DEQ Oklahoma Administrative Code 252:641-1-3 and 641-13.

When a septic system fails, it allows the waste water(raw sewage) to contaminate the surrounding soil and even ground water. S.I.R. is a new company, dedicated to the safety of Oklahoma families like you. When your family or friends come in contact with areas contaminated by untreated waste water, the results could be devastating. Sickness or even death could result. Many diseases come from pathogens found in raw sewage.

S.I.R. is attempting to eliminate the problem of inoperable septic systems by taking a new approach to servicing these systems.

Many people are limited to service by their original installer. These people are told that the installer is the only one authorized to work on their system. This is simply not true. ( in instances where the system is under warranty, your contract probably prevents you from seeking service elsewhere. Be sure to check your contract before hand to prevent voiding your warranty.) There is no law that says that a 3rd party service person cannot service your unit. We are that 3rd party.

We do not install Aerobic Systems; we service them.

Many people are under the impression that once the required 2 year maintenance contract ends, they don't have to worry about it any more. This is simply NOT TRUE.

Your installer is required by law to give you that 2 year maintenance contract. Its not a bonus, it is a law created to make system manufacturers develop products which actually work. That maintenance contract forces the installer to submit water samples for testing. This is done to make sure that Oklahoma families like you stay safe.

Once the maintenance contract ends, the home owner is required by law to renew the contract or find someone else for the job.

The penalties for non-compliance can be severe. The DEQ can order your water meter removed until your system is brought back into operating condition. Contaminated soil may have to be cleaned up. All of this at once can become a very expensive lesson. If a family member contracts an illness the guilt could be overwhelming.

We feel that S.I.R. is the right company for you. Sometimes installers go out of business or refuse to come back. Sometimes they will string you along until it is convenient for them to get around to service your system. The level of service may not have been up to your expectations. Is it worth the safety of your family to neglect or be refused service? We think not.

I briefly mentioned above, I've started a company to service aerobic systems. I've developed better service plans and more service options than most other companies. Few companies offer service for these systems. The reason for this is, regular plumbing companies don't usually employ plumbers who understand the fundamentals of septic systems. The few companies which do are so few that when trying to combine their normal plumbing workload and new septic related service calls, they become stretched too thin. They are unable to quickly respond to your problem, or they may rush through your job in order to get to another one (possibly better paying) somewhere else. Septic system installers are not always qualified to work on your treatment system. The fundamentals of aerobic treatment are very different than most other types of systems. Companies which install brands other than yours have a contract with the company they represent, limiting them to that brand. After the warranty has expired some companies want nothing more to do with the system. The company which installed your unit may or may not still be in business. Sometimes customers were not happy with the level of service that they received from their installer, or they don't know who the installer was.

Customers have another choice when it comes to service.

I want to service these units, whether they're under warranty or not. I have had the benefit of education from a Grand Master Plumber as well as another plumbing contractor with a combined experience of over 45 yrs between them. I've learned how to service many different systems and I'm proud to say I specialize in aerobic system service.

I DO NOT install these systems, therefore I'm NOT LIMITED to any specific brand. There has been a lot of new technology concerning these systems over the last few years and I've been right there, learning it and developing my own procedures and techniques of service.

S.I.R. is striving to make Oklahoma a cleaner, safer place to live.
