The Paramin Blue Devils. On the last Friday before Carnival, the city of Port of Spain came alive with the sights of traditional costumes. Children paraded the streets in Carnival costumes of yesteryear.It was truly a wonderful sight, reminiscent of the old tradition that gave birth to Trinidad's now world renowned Carnival. The Jab Molasie was in full effect taking over the streets, dancing, scaring little children and dirtying those who didn't "pay the devil".
