This site was originally devoted to the Yamaha YZF series but I'm not biased. I love all bikes. Most of my mates ride a YZF of one kind or another so I thought I might share our knowledge ( or lack thereof ) about them. We live in Mackay, Queensland, which is on the east coast of Australia.

Getting together Thursday nights and Sunday mornings, sport bikes of all makes and models take to the surrounding areas to enjoy the weather, the bikes and the company.

This is me, having a little fun on my bike, a '98 YZF 600R Thundercat.

Now as I mentioned I'm not biased. In our group you'll find not only YZF's such as the Thundercat, the 750's, the ThunderAce and the R1 but a few FireBlades,CBR 600's and 250's, ZX 9's, ZX'6's and ZXR 750's,GZX-R's and RGV's as well. As I get the guys and gals to stop long enough I'll get some photos and show real people riding real bikes.

One of the more popular ride locations is Eungella in the Pioneer Valley. It takes a good hour or so depending on the speed you ride. The ride involves everything from long, open straights to tight, winding range riding. At the top of the range is a old pub called the Eungella Chalet. This is the view from where we sit down to have lunch and have a quiet ale. Eat your hearts out.
