THE STAR AND THE PRINCE
By Tia Ferrandino
PART I
She woke up early in the morning, her hair a mess. She
grabbed a brush off the dresser after she got out of
bed. Her brother, Christian, slept peacefully in his
bed at the end of the room. Mmmmm..the eggs cooked
vibrantly in the kitchen and does that smell good!
Kirsten Caroline Dunst always loved her motherr,
Inez’s breakfast. She had a rough life. Her parents
divorced, and now she lives with her mother, along
with her brother, in a two bedroom apartment. Usually
celebrities live in mansions, or expensive apartments,
but not the Dunsts. Their apartment is huge, and cozy.
Suddenly, her dog Bubbles, ran into the room. He is a
Terrier, but don’t know what kind, but he looks kinda
like the dog from “There’s Something about Mary.”
“Bubbles, shoot.” The dog barked lightly and scurried
out. “Crazy dog.” Kirsten said with a laugh. She shook
her head and brushed her long golden hair. Her mother
walked in and told her she has won a contest on the
radio. “You won? What’s the prize?”
“We’re going to England. All of us. So wake up yuour
brother and tell him to pack up. And you too. We’re
leaving after breakfast.” Kirsten excidely placed down
the brush and hurridly waking up Christian.
“Christian, gues swhat? We’re going to England!” At
first, Christian didn’t beleive her. But when her
mother came in, holding three airline tickets in her
hands, Christian, at that moment, jumped up, almost
hitting the ceiling.
The airplane landed swiftly on the road at a complete
stop. With two bags in her hands, Kirsten certianly
had a smile wiped across her face. A black limo pulled
up in front of the airport outside, and as her mother,
brother, as for herself, exited the building, the limo
awaits, with the driver holding up a sign that reads:
“Dunst”. It’s for them. The three entered the car.
“Holy shoot, look! Pizza!” Christian exclaimed, as he
snatched the big Pizza Hut box, and flipped the top
open, revealing a juicy steamy cheeze pizza. “No way!
Look, a refrigerator, also!” She flipped open the
door, where ice cold Coca Cola bottles lined up on the
top shelf. ‘Yes, even it has a TV. Now, guys, we’re
not staying in a hotel.” “Where are we staying in?”
“Buckingham Palace.” The kids froze in sudden silence.
This is going to be a loing, but interestingly trip.
