Louis King and the Liars Klub are another band that according to Glenn Nelson of Highway 49 are "a bloody great, great band" most of their gigs are interstate, but when they do come back to Melbourne are a must see. A Melbourne Blues performer who contacted me is Neale Farnell. He has his own webpage which although he has just started it, it is looking good.
