Rubin Traylor

Mr. Rubin Traylor was born on November 15, 1914, in Morris County, Daingerfield, Texas, to the family of Mr. Mack Traylor and Mrs. Ola Harris. He attended Rosenwall School in Cason, Texas.

Mr. Rubin united with the Shady Grove Baptist Church at an ealry age, and remained faithful until death. He served as Deacon, Club Captain, and a member of the Trustee Board.

Mr. Rubin was employeed at Lone Star Steel for 31 years. He retired in 1979.

He was married to Mrs. Esther Doddy on December 26,1938. To this union, 11 children were born. His son Billy proceded him in death.

Tuesday, February 10, 1982, at 4:47 a.m, he closed his eyes and was called to his eternal home in Glory.

Mr. Rubin left to cherish his memory, his wife, Esther Traylor, daughters, Bessie Faye Duffey, Mildred Jean Hanson, Jo Ann Mathews, and Patsy Sue Johnson. Sons, R.T., Larry Von, Sonnie Ray, Eddie Glenn, Ronald Wayne and Calvin Bernard. Sisters, Daisy Roney, Susie Knight and Mary Jane. Brother, Dyke Traylor.
