So, you're watching Fun House one day, and one of your favourite performers comes on to play with JD and the gang! Yes, this happened quite periodically. Here's all of the celebs that I can remember, and you folks are welcome to send in any additions - my address is on the index page. WORLD PREMIERE EPISODE (Syndie)
Appearing on the one hour world premiere episode
that aired on Labor Day weekend, 1988, were the
following:
In episode 1 - Danny Ponce (The Hogan Family) against
Staci Keanan (My Two Dads, later Step by Step).
Danny and his partner won.
In episode 2 - Danny Pintauro (Who's the Boss) against
Soleil-Moon Frye (Punky Brewster). Danny and his
partner won, and she was very excited when he grabbed
the power prize.
NEW YORK DAY (Syndie - Part of Salute to the 50 states)
Jeremy Miller (Growing Pains) competed against
Soleil-Moon Frye. Soleil came out on top.
OTHER GUESTS ON SYNDICATION RUN
Jeremy was on at least on other episode, as I
remember him playing an Elvis Stunt. Also, I believe
that Becky Chalke (Rosanne) was on, as well as
Tiffany Brisette (Small Wonder) (and possibly Jerry
Supiran from Small Wonder?). Thanks to the Small

PETER PAN AND THE PIRATES DAY (Fox, week 2)
Josh Saviano (Wonder Years) competed against
Jennifer Beck who was on a CBS show called "Paradise".
Josh and partner won, and Josh tore through the Fun
House like there was no tomorrow! JD also mentioned
that he had been on the show before.
OTHER FOX GUESTS (Fox, week 2)
Week 2 of the fox weekday run featured celebrities
playing with their partners. All I have to go on is
a commercial that was on the Fox Premiere, so this list
may not be totally accurate: Brian Austin Green (90210);
Douglas Emerson (?), Danny Pintauro (Who's the Boss)*;
Michael Fishman (Roseanne), Leonardo DiCaprio (yes,
that's him - he was on Growing Pains at the time).
*Note that Danny Pintauro and Josh Saviano may have
been the only two people to appear on both the syndie
and the fox versions.
