Dahlia
From Le Tricot d'Art #17. Anchor six-cord mercer crochet #30 and 2.50mm needles.
Etoile de Paon
Marianne Kinzel's first published design. The pattern was rejected by several publishers; the reason given being that its was beautiful, but would not sell. Marianne and her husband Walter founded their own publishing company, Artistic Needlework Publications. They published 31 leaflets between 1951 and 1953. Etoile de Paon was leaflet number 1. As with all the Kinzel designs I have done, there were no glitches here. In fact, I know of nobody who has found an error in any of her patterns.DMC Cordonnet Spécial #50.
Burda 418/41 Herbert Niebling Design
This design is from the German Burda 418. There are several errors in this pattern. I used DMC Cordonnet Spécial #50 and #1 US needles. The china is my grandmother's "Rossmore" pattern by Fransiscan.
Diana Creatif
This design is from the French Diana Creatif Spécial Tricot d'Art. I used VOG #5 Cordonnet Spécial(from Israel) and #2 US needles.
Diana Creatif
Also from the French Diana Creatif Spécial Tricot d'Art. Opera #30 thread with 2.50mm needles.
"Waterfall"
This large, double ruffled doily is featured on the cover of Clark's O.N.T. Book No. 253, published in 1949.
