1994/95 toured Belgium and Holland with Irish colleges. 1995 Member of Team Ontario and 1996 Pan Am Rugby Series member where he won his first cap replacing Tony Healy vs USA, a full cap against Argentina and another replacing Eddie Evans vs Hong Kong in 1998. Played professionally for Nottingham R.F.C. 1996/7 and Fylde RFC in 1997/8.
