The Windsor Family: England's Royalty
Queen Victoria of England (1819-1901
Britain's Royal heritage is as complex aas it is facinating. For instance, few today remember that the Windsor hourse was originally called the HOUSE OF Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, named for the family of Queen Victoria's Husband, Prince Albert. The British
royal family Anglicized their name to "Winsor" during WWI, during the height of the war with Germany, Whose ruling King at the time was a cousin to the British Throne.
Few Also know that Queen Elizabeth's husband, Prince Phillip gave up his title to the throne of Greece to marry her in 1947.
