Maria is a 14 years old typical japanese student. She's attending an abroad school mainly because the guy of her dreams is in there. She loves Coach Hirobe. She's a good basketball player and is in the school's team, of course.
You can difference her from her twin Noeru aside of her sweet nature because she always wears two or one ponytail/s as hairdress.
Noeru is Maria's male twin, he was very angry because Maria preffered to go with her "guy of her dreams" than stay with him, so he decides to go to her school and have her breaking up with her "boyfriend"... but there's just one problem. There are no more rooms for male students, so he has to cosplay as Maria's female twin.
Noeru is very agressive and temperamental, but he's pretty cute in his ways.
Sasa falls in love with him thinking he's a girl, and later on he keeps on being his friend.
Noeru's room-mate is Miyuu. You can difference Noeru from Maria because he always has his long artificial hair. Also, he ALWAYS has a hairband on so that his wig doesn't come off.
A boy called Yoshiaki who is Hirobe coach's little brother asked Maria out. After that, they became couples but Yoshiaki's ex-girlfriend kept on going in their way. After breaking up with Yoshiaki, she now goes out with Daisuke.
Noeru starts to love Miyuu but can't say that because Miyuu thinks he's a girl. So he makes up a name "Tooru" and starts going out with her without the wig.
But after a while, Miyuu finds out that Noeru and Tooru was the same person and she got very angry...
Miyuu said that she hates Noeru. Noeru got very sad. Sasa and Maria tries to make Miyuu understand and forgive him.
At last, Miyuu said OK, and went to Noeru to be friends again. To be FRIENDS, not the other relationship...
After a while, Noeru got a Love Letter from a boy called Chris who is in year 8. The letter said "I LOVE YOU. Please come behind the PE building after school." Of course, he didn't know that Noeru was a boy so...
Noeru meets Chris after school and finds out that he was a vocal leader in his own band. All the girls in the school loves him. The reason he wrote to Noeru was because all the other girls to him, looks like a bunch of vegitables because they all love him. But Noeru was different (of cource). He saw Noeru jump out of a window to go to his next class and Noeru accidentaly landed on him.
He said he loves Noeru Noeru was the first girl he saw that wasn't treating him like how other girls does... Because he was "different" from other people...
You can imagin how Noeru thought of that... He became stiff as a rock!
From then on, Noeru has the worst time of his life. Because he's being a girl, Chris thinks that Sasa is 'her' boyfriend.
Whilst that's going on, one day, Noeru, Maria, and Sasa was eating at a shop, and Daisuke sees them. Noeru was at the toilet at this time, so Daisuke thinks that Maria was dating with Sasa. Later on, Maria finds out that that day was Daisuke's birthday. So she makes cookies and give it to him. Daisuke takes it, but he said he wants to break up. This made Maria very sad. On her way back to the boarding school, she meets Sasa. He patiently listens to Maria, and she at last relax.
Chris is in a band called 'Embrasse Moi' (which means KISS ME in French), and it's School Festival. But that day, one member in the band is sick. Sasa is pulled in, and plays the guitar for them. After that, he finds himself getting a MPV award. Chris is very angry about this, and tries to revenge.
On Sports Day, Chris does everything he can to stop Sasa from winning races. In a race, he pulls Sasa's partner, who is Maria, and she can't run anymore. So Sasa held her and ran to the goal.
From then on, Sasa and Maria sort of fell in love with each other.

Maron Kusakabe is an ordinary 16 years old girl who is also Jeanne. At night, she transforms into Jeanne and fights demons who have possessed people and when she catches the demon, they turn into a chess piece. The demons stay in beautiful pictures so after Jeanne fights with the demon, she takes the picture and replace it with a nicer angel picture. But because of that, people call her "Kaito Jeanne" (theif Jeanne).
Miyako feels a rivalry with Marron though she doesn't know that Marron is actually Kaitou Jeanne. She really doesn't like Kaitou Jeanne because she's the daughter of two police officers and Kaitou Jannu keeps 'stealing' beautiful artwork.
A new student, Chiaki, enters the same class as Marron and Miyako.
Chiaki was a 'thief' called Sindbad as well. He is making Jeanne stop doing what she's doing. Chiaki knows who Jeanne really is.
Chiaki said that he loves Maron so that she will stop being a 'thief'. Maron belives him (she still doesn't know he knows she's Jeanne and she doesn't stop being Jeanne) but finds out that he was lying.
Chiaki finds himself that he really loves Maron. But Maron didn't believe him. Soon after, Maron starts to love Chiaki and finds out that he's Sindbad.
Now, they are couples in normal life and rival at night.

Seara just became year 7 but looks like at least year 10 because she is very tall. She is in love for 4 years with Shuuhei who is 3 years older than her. And on the day Seara graduated grade school, they happily became a couple. After that, they had many interuptions between their love, but in the end, Seara recieved a ring from Shuuhei, and ended happily.

Nao (16) and Hisashi (16) are having to live together in the same apartment because of a mix up of where they were supposed to live. Hisashi is handsome and Nao was happy about it, but the fact that they were living together was a secret to everyone becase then Nao would have to go and live in her grandfather's farm which she doesn't want to.
But people found out that they were together most of the time so Hisashi decided to lie to everyone and say that they were couples. Nao was happy about it and realised that she loved Hisashi, and Hisashi who used to love his sister in law said that he loves Nao. Now, they are real couples.
"Seishun shiteru Kai!" by Ryou Azuki
Usami Rika is a 16-year-old who just returned to Japan after graduating from university in Australia. She has just started teaching English at Shishimaru High School to people her own age, and she is very idealistic and outgoing. Her first day, she meets Sehara, who's in her class and seems to be the model student, and Ookami, who causes trouble in her class. Ookami is actually 17, but was held back. In the first chapter, she sees Sehara giving money to Ookami,and though Rika thinks it's for a good purpose, it seems very shady. Sehara seems to have some kind of control over Ookami and the class co-president, a girl with glasses called Watanuki. Watanuki tries to steal answers to one of Rika's English quizzes, and Rika sees her after being shouted at by Ookami. She 'saves' her, but both Ookami and Watanuki run away when Sehara shows up.
Later on, Sehara finds himself in love with Rika, and says so to her. Rika at first didn't like the idea, but in the end, they became couples.
Marmalade Boy is the story of Miki and Yuu. Two Japanese high school students who lives are turned upside one day. It seems that their parents met on vacation and got interested in each others partners. In other words, Miki's mother fell in love with Yuu's dad and vice versa. Well the parents decide to move in together, get divorced and switch wives.
Miki finds Yuu very annoying at the start. One day, when she was in sick bay, she pretended to be sleeping because Yuu came in the room. When Yuu realised that Miki was sleeping, he kissed her!

After a while, Miki found out that Yuu knew that she wasn't sleeping... Yuu loved Miki.
But later, Miki realises that she loves Yuu too.
They started going out, but they didn't tell their parents about it because they were imbarrased.
A while later, Yuu finds out that Miki was his own sister. Of couse Miki doesn't know this. Yuu tries to break up with her and did, not telling that he was her actuall brother. But they couldn't forget about eachother so at the end, they decided to tell their parents that they loved eachother... that they don't mind being brothers and sisters because they couldn't forget about eachother. But it was all a mistake.. So at last, they happily became couples again.
