| The HP Button Alliance is a sector
of the Silver Serpent (part of the Wonders and Magic of Harry Potter.) The
Alliance posts the buttons of all the members without a charge or anything. All
members are Harry Potter sites. The only requirement is that all members have to post the Alliance's button on his or her webpage, preferably somewhere people will actually see it (now isn't that a concept!) Why? When people click on the button, they will be lead to this page. It is the Alliance's homepage, basically. There they will click on one of the links that the buttons provide, giving more visitors to your websites! The more people that come here, the more they will click on the buttons, leading to bigger traffic! This is a great way for the visitors, too - they get a wider scope of creative websites to choose from. To say this in short, the HP Button Alliance (HPBA) is like a medium, a rest stop, for visitors to catch their breath and then have an array of choices to chose from to go to next. When they click on your button, you get more visitors. And how would they click your button? By getting here first! That why we need the members to put the HPBA button on their pages. It benefits all of us. Kind of like a webring, but a bit different. Another thing cool about buttons (intead of regular links is thier relation to art. The buttons can sometimes show the website's style, and would usually use fonts that the website uses. It is more aesthetically (artistically) pleasing to see than line after line of links. The buttons can help the user decide which page to go to. The brighter the button is, the more it will be noticed. Keep this in mind if you wish to make one. I hope that you can join this Alliance (just keep scrolling), and that I've given you enough reasons to join too, if you have a Harry Potter page... and if you do, we welcome you into our circle.
