March 2000--
The tour hoping to accomplish what could not be done for another thousand years on 9-9-1999 starting at 9am was basically successful. The Corvallis Gazette-Times featured an article about the tour organizer. Many people from the Pacific Northwest of the USA showed off their Saabs, from an older 96 model to the more modern turbo-powered engines. Pictures and video were taken of the event and posted on another site, pending this site. Although the goal of having 19 Saab 99's in front of the 99 Smokehouse was not complete, we still had a great time.
