What's In A Name?
Uh, everything! I'm not one to lash out in angst, nor do I harbour any resentment, but growing up, one of my most common sources of frustration was people's inability to get my name right. For the record, my first name is Nancy Lee. It's not Nancy, my middle name is not Lee. But you can call me Nancy, everybody else does! And for those who know me well, I usually go by Ms. Nancy, Nancypants, or Wee. |

Yup, That's Me
... 10 years ago, when I was 13. One of the things I love to do most is dance! I've been taking lessons since I was 10 years old. Besides dancing, one of my greatest passions is putting pencil to paper. Whether it's writing or drawing, there is nothing more gratifying to me than finishing a piece and saying "I made this!" Except, that is, posting my work on the internet for the whole world to look at. Ah, the sheer modesty! If you feel so inclined, take a look at 3 of my charcoal pieces: Little Piggy, Tom, Wasted. |
My School, My Life... Almost
Wow, sounds pretty dramatic, doesn't it? Well, it's true. I'll be graduating from Concordia University in June of 2005. After that, the world, as they say, is my oyster! Or my playground... how does that saying go, anyway?? Anyhow, for the last four years I've been Specializing in Urban Studies (that's city planning for all those of you who don't know what 'urban studies' means!). I've been having a great time and have learned a lot of great stuff. I've even had the opportunity to get my feet wet and gain some practical experience through internships and field research. You can see my journal from my trip to China at this site as well. Check back later for some of my school projects!
