Nathan, a young man living in a calm home, asks for one gift from his father on Christmas, and that gift is a Playstation2. After waiting and begging an entire year for the Playstation2, he was almost certain he would get it. To his surprise, things did not turn out the way he expected, when he did not do his homework the day before Christmas break. When Nathan opened the largest gift he went into shock, after seeing instead of a Playstation2, he recieved a high-powered pencil sharpener. A close friend of Nathan tells us, "Nathan doesn't do his homework too often, maybe the pencil sharpener would be for the best." What we know is that Nathan is in pain and suffering in his living room struggling to finish his math work, and will continue to be like that for years to come. Dr. Shumacken says, "Hopefully, after he cries us a river, eventually he'll build himself a bridge, and get over it."
