The Zoo Section
A prankster in the registrar's office who filled one section of freshman English with students whose surnames were all animal names. When the instructor read the list aloud on the first day of class, the lineup sounded like roll call at the zoo: "Mr. Deere? Ms. Byrd? Mr. Bear? Ms. Fish?" and so forth.
