Chapter 666.... oops.. I mean 66:)

Carter twirled her bracelet around her wrist and stared up at the ceiling of Zac's bedroom. He was sitting on the bed next to her, leaning against the wall. He poked her on the side lightly. "You're totally zoning."

Carter blinked. "I am not."

"You are so totally zoning." He laughed.

Carter shrugged and rolled over onto her stomach, facing away from Zac.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Read my mind." She smiled and turned her head over so that she was looking at him.

"You're thinking, 'What the hell am I going to do now that I kissed Taylor'."

Carter's eyes widened. "You know about that?"

Zac pointed to the moniter.

"Oh yeah."

"I turned it off though. Then I fell asleep. So, I don't know what happened after you kissed him."

Carter smiled and shrugged. "Nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Nothing."

"No nookie?"

Carter laughed. "Yes Zac, I did him right there on the floor. You couldn't hear through the walls?"

Zac sat up straight. "Do I sleep that sound?"

"I'm kidding."

"Oh." Zac sighed. "So what did happen?"

"Like I said. Nothing."

"Ok, you're going to have to explain that one a little further."

"Well, after I kissed him, I hugged him and thanked him. Then... I kissed him again. And he kissed back... a lot. Then, I hugged him again, thanked him again, and I left."

"You left?"

Carter nodded. "I'm such a dork. I just left, no explanation... no nothing." She groaned and pulled the pillow out of Zac's arms and covered her face with it. "Do I suck, Zac?"

"Not that I know of. Maybe I should ask Taylor though."

Carter sat yup and whapped him in the face with the pillow. "Dude, enough with the sucking jokes." She laughed for a few seconds, hitting him with the pillow again when she heard the door from Taylor's room open. "Shit." She whispered. "I don't want him to know I'm over here."

Zac rolled his eyes. "Moniter... dork."

"It's off... dork." She laughed and ran over to the closet when she heard that Taylor was walking down the hall. She whacked it hard with her fist, ripped the door open, threw herself inside, and slammed it shut again.

"I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You are a magical, magical woman." Zac laughed as Taylor opened the door to his bedroom.

"Is Carter in here?"

"Does it look like she is?"

"I thought I heard her yelling at you."

Zac shrugged. "Probably threw the wall. You know how she is."

Taylor nodded. "I guess. If you see her, will you tell her... I wanna see her?"

"Yeah. Ok." Zac nodded.

"Thanks." Standing in the doorway, Taylor turned around again. "What was all that thumping before I came in here?"

Zac's face turned red. "Uhm... I was uhm... exercising."

Taylor rolled his eyes. "Can't you at least do that at night?" He turned around, closing the door behind him.

"Dammit, Carter. Now Tay thinks I'm a little horn nugget."

Carter laughed. "You's not so lil anymore, Zaccy."

"Yeah yeah. Ok come out of there."

Carter pulled on the doornob a few times before eventually kicking the door.

"Car, that's not funny. You know how to open the door. So come on, get out of there."

"I'm not fricking kidding Zac. The door won't open." Carter grabbed the doornob and pulled forcefully, yanking it out of the socket.

Zac laughed as the other half of the doornob fell out in front of me. "You're so screwed."

"Dammit Zac!" Carter backed up a foot and slammed her body into the door.

"Damn woman, you're gonna break yourself."

Carter screamed as loud as she could and slammed her hip into the door.

"Ok, ok. I'll go get Taylor."

Carter screamed again.

"Ok... I'll get Ike." Zac left his bedroom, went through Taylor's room, and opened the door that led to the attic.

"What are you doing?" Taylor asked, looking up from his computer.

"I'm getting Isaac."

"Oh."

Zac screamed as loud as he could for Isaac to come down. Isaac's bedroom door slammed open and he ran down the stairs. "What?!"

"Uhm... I can't get my closet door open."

Isaac gave him a confused look. "So? Go get Carter. She knows how to get it open."

Zac glared at Isaac. "I can't get Carter. Carter is... incapacitated at the moment."

Isaac sighed. "So? Wait till she's... un... incapacitated. What could be in your closet that's that important that you need it out right this minute."

"Like I said," Zac coughed, "CARTER is incapacitated at the moment... and I REALLY need to get the closet door open."

Isaac sighed again and pushed Zac towards his room. "Whatever this is about, it better be really good."

Taylor rolled his eyes and continued his e-mail to Beth. I have strange brothers.

Isaac stood in front of Zac's closet door, confused, listening to the consstant pounding that was coming from inside. "Are you hiding a puppy again?"

"DAMMIT ISAAC! GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

Isaac jumped back at Carter's voice and laughed. "Dude, imagine the possibilities."

"Get me out of here, or I'll run your balls over a cheese grater."

"You've threatened me with that so many times, it isn't even funny anymore." He looked down at the doornob. "Besides, I don't think I know how to get you out of there."

"GET ME OUT!" She screamed.

Taylor walked into Zac's room and looked at the closet door, totally confused.

"GET ME OUT! GET ME OUT! GET ME OUT!" She screamed again.

Zac kicked the door.

"DON'T KICK ME!"

Taylor walked up to the closet door and knocked lightly.

"Please Zac, no knock knock jokes."

Taylor turned to his brother. "Hey Zac?"

"Yeah?"

"Why is Carter in your closet?"

"She was hiding from you."

"Why?"

"Because she made an ass out of herself and she was really really embarrassed."

Taylor took a step towards the door and leaned against it. "Car?"

She didn't answer.

"Hey, I didn't think you made an ass of yourself. Not at all."

She still didn't answer.

"I think she's dead." Isaac smacked the door.

"I'm not dead you dumbass."

"Sorry."

Carter stayed silent for a few moments while they looked around Zac's room for a way to get her out. "Tay?" She called out, wondering if he was still there."

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry I hid from you."

"It's ok." Taylor looked around the room. "Hey Ike? What costs more to fix, a Carter sized hole in the wall, or an antique wooden door?"

"I'm assuming the door is more expensive."

Taylor grabbed the rubber sledge hammer from the corner of Zac's room and raised it in the air.

"NO!" Zac ran to him and grabbed the sledge hammer. "THAT'S THE SACRED HAMMER!"

Carter kicked the door. "Dammit Zac! Give up your freakin love affair with your strange bedroom objects... including that thing under your bed... and get me the FUCK OUT OF HERE!"

Zac handed the sledge hammer back to Taylor. "She sounds pissed."

Taylor raised it over his head again. "Ok Carter, move over."

"Which way."

"Left."

"Who's left?"

"Mine..." Taylor thought for a minute. "No yours."

"Ok. Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, catch a Isaac by it's toe. If he hollars squeeze him harder, Eenie Meenie Miney... Moe." Carterr stopped. "Ok go ahead."

"Cute." Isaac rolled his eyes.

Taylor slammed the hammer through the wall, breaking a hole in it about the size of his head. "You still alive."

Carter laughed and looked through the hole. "I got lucky on that decision."

Taylor smiled at her. "Ok step back."

"Why do I think you're enjoying this?"

Taylor took about 4 more swings until the hole was big enough for Carter to crawl out. He put his hands on her sides to help her out and laughed when she squinted at the light. "Ok that was fun." He smiled at her.

Carter kissed Taylor lightly on the lips and pulled him towards his bedroom. "Hey Ike, you're mom is gonna kill you for making that hole in the wall."

Zac pointed and laughed at Isaac.

Isaac shook his head. "Did she just kiss him?" He sighed. "I totally missed something here."
