David C. Keller was a member of Company K 93 Regiment of Pennsylvania
during the Civil War.
He mustered in Oct. 21,1861 and mustered out on
June 27,1865.
He was commissioned Captian on Nov. 8, 1862, Major on
Nov.
23, 1864 and Lieutenant Colonel on Jan. 23, 1865, to BV Colonel on
April
12,1865.
He was wounded at Fair Oaks on May 31,1862, at Gettsburgh on
July 4, 1863 and again at Petersburg, Va. on March 25, 1865.
His
injuries included his left lung, left leg, left foot, and right arm &
breast.
David married Rosa Krebs on June 21, 1866. He had one son
Daniel
F. Keller.
David was one of the pioneer builders in Staten Island.
David
died on May 22, 1902 in Reading, PA.
