The major competition in 2004 is the European Championships in Ninove, Belgium at the end of May 2004.

The next World Town Criers Championships will be in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia ; the venue for the 2005 World Championships

All competitions are held under the rules of the Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers.

Bids to hold the 2007 World Championships should be addressed to the Guild by interested Towns and Cities as soon as possible
