Our Vette's

Hi!!! My name is Frank (in the center). I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania about 20 miles north of Scranton, at Newton Lake. My friends Paul (left), John (right) and I have been driving, collecting, and selling Corvettes for the past 45 years. We all feel that the Corvette is a truely incredible automobile. If you come to the "Corvettes@Carlisle" weekend in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in August, be sure to look us up at our vendor spaces G-69 thru 72. We are always happy to meet new VETTE enthusiasts!!

For those of you who may have tried to sign my guestbook in the past several days and couldn't, the problem seems to be corrected. I contacted the site manager and apparently they did whatever needed to be done to fix the mistake, but in the process they wiped out more than two hundred enteries that had been logged there over the past two years. Oh well, now my guest book is empty, so you'll have to start filling it up again. Thanks

Keep checking in, to see if I've made any more changes !!!! One of these days I'll try to do a total re-construction job on this page, but until I do I'll probably just keep changing the seasonal stuff.

PAUL'S '65------------------------ JOHN'S '74

**FRANK'S '68**

Here are two pics. of my '68. In the top it along side the '94. Below, my Grandson Vince is posing with it. Who would believe I'm old enough to have a Grandson......ha ha ha Since that pic was taken, he has turned 20 and here is another pic in the same place with the same car...LOL

***JOHN'S PROJECT***

On the way back from the cruise night at the Waymart Hotel, John took this sunset pic on the Casey Highway with his go pro cam mounted on the windshield. He titled it "HIGHWAY TO HELL"?? Well here it is!!!!!!!!! John has been working on tweeking and refining his Black 1974 Corvette Coupe for some 25 odd years. This past winter he completed what I feel is his crowning achievement.

At Corvettes@Carlisle 2003, he bought a used TPI unit. (actually he bought 2 and has the other one for sale). He set about the task of cleaning it and gathering all the necessary hoses and accessories. This spring, this is what rolled out of his garage....... A fully functional, Fuel Injected '74.

This is not to say the project didn't encounter some hurdles which had to be breached. But through it all John has become an expert in the mechanics of the changeover. As you can tell from the photos, it was a spectacular success. If any of you are interested in hearing all about the project, John will be more than happy to fill you in this August at Corvettes@Carlisle 2015 Row G Spaces 69-72. Where you can see the car and talk to him.

PS. Thanks to John's sister Mary for sending me the pics. and the project spec.list.

***2007 CORVETTES@CARLISLE***

Well the 2014 Corvettes @ Carlisle is all but a memory. It's hard to believe that we have been attending this show as vendors for 29 years now. Every year we seem to get more philosophical about it. It was a sad year this year because our buddy Phil was not able to attend for health reasons. Certainly hope he can make it next year. We never show a profit, between the space rental, meals, and hotel rooms, but we enjoy ourselves and meet a lot of fantastic Corvette people. Just a weekend to kick back and forget about "Real Life" for a while.

"G-69 thru 72..where to find us"

FRANK......................................PAUL.........................................JOHN

On the left you can see one more pic of the devastation after the storm in 2007. On the right, John is holding a sign I made up to bust the "Silver Spoons" who were there in their IZOD shirts and shorts walking around worrying about their precious C-5's getting a rain drop on them. I still post that sign every year in memory of them......LOL. That year they got more than a drop they got a downpour. I didn't get a pic of it but the whole tent over on the show field with the 1957 Reunion cars in it collapsed as well.

""GETTYSBURG TRIP""

Below are two photos of the '94 parked along Seminary Ridge (the start of Pickett's charge), and the fence row at the base of Little Round Top.

Above left is the historic Gettysburg Hotel, where we stayed while visiting the park. On the right you can see the '94 parked outside one of the many covered bridges near the battlefield.
