JUSTICE

Justice is ruled by Libra, of course. The rune is Tir. The number 11 is a higher octave of the number 2. (The High Priestess that is idealistic, excitable, changeable, sometimes unstable). Do those pillars look familiar? They should. They're the pillars from the High Priestess card, except now they are uniform gray instead of black & white, representing balanced energies.

The veil is still there, but the HPs veil represents the subconscious. The Justice veil represents the superconscious (remember 11 is a higher octave of 2).

The little square on her crown represents well-ordered thoughts. The sword is double-edged, cutting both ways, signifying impartiality. It's point-up signifying victory. It's in her right hand, showing the logical, well-ordered mindset necessary to dispense fair justice. The scales are in her left, intuitive hand, showing logic balanced by the  intuition. Notice the clasp holding the cloak. The square is the Law protecting the circle, the eternal state of oneness within us all.

Through visualization & meditation, Justice assists you in breaking through the veils of illusion or deception. This archetype helps you achieve & maintain balance in all aspects of your life.

ASSIGNMENT:
Take out the Justice card. Meditate on the card and ask Justice to show you the areas of unbalance in your life and show you a way to correct the imbalance and restore justice to your life.

Shuffle the deck as you normally do, then cut the deck into two piles. The first pile is the problem. The second pile is the solution.

Draw the top card of each pile. Read the problem, then the solution.

You may continue to do this up to 11 times, if you feel you have that many imbalances in your life!

If you still have questions on any of the solutions, use this card as the significator of the Celtic Cross spread.

This could be a very enlightening experience! Remember to make a concrete plan to incorporate these solutions into your daily life!

From Lynell:
I used the Tarot of the Spirit. I decided to keep it simple and only draw one layer. It'll be enough just to deal with one imbalance (since I have a sneaky suspicion that one of my imbalances is a tendency to take on too much and so lose focus). I'm using the Spirit book to explore the relationship between the two cards I drew.

In this deck, Justice is called Karma. We are told that we need to take responsibility for our actions. We will reap what we sew. All will need to be balanced in order for us to become whole. Justice is that harmony in knowing that our lives count for something: our efforts make a difference. So, we choose wisely.

Problem: 2 of Water - Sacred Cord (2 of Cups)
Am I entangled with too much concern for others, my connections to them, their expectations of me?

Solution: Magician
Self-direction and focus. I am the creator of my own experience. Detach from others. Take responsibility for what happens in my life. Be empowered through my own autonomy.

Just for today, I will say 'no' when I need to. I need to "cut some ties." I will not explain myself to others. I will not feel guilty. Just for today, I will be fair to myself.
