I know your dreams. Little girl dreams of handsome princes and far away places to which he'll take you upon his steed. Dreams of magic and secret places where all is perfect, perfect indeed, in a land of beauty with puffy clouds and gentle rains... songs at midnight and dances at dawn. A place with blue skies and warm gulf winds to gently lift you the fences and walls you've built around you. The ones most men would not scale. The walls of stone made cold by others who in their cowardice took your frail heart and tossed it at your feet when the clock struck twelve. I know your dreams. Dreams of forever and only tomorrows, where yesterdays go safely into a drawer, tied up with bows. Dreams of incense, late candlelit dinners and endless gazing into another's eyes until you know everything about him. And you feel him in your hungry soul. Eyes2 odd moments, these... when forms your image in my mind... uninvited, yet welcome to stay until the end of time if that would be your wish. you've no right, you know... to dwell in my thoughts, just as I ought not to sweep away the clutter there to make room for you to rest... for you look tired. tired of reliving history... tired of testing the waters, but rather wanting to simply dive into the mysteries of yet another heart. I'd like to hear what you might be saying behind those secret lips through which slip sad bluesy ballads with just a twinge of comic recognition that life doesn't necessarily suck all of the time. yes... you may stay awhile... with your love me eyes and silent smile. take your time... lounge in my thoughts, and if you become lost in the mess and the clutter just move anything you want.
