What do you think of when you first think of a high school marching band?
Music?
Tubas?
Drum cadences?
Football game fun?
Gaudy uniforms from the 60's?

Well, when you think of the Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School Marching Blue Band (HASHSMBB) you think of many more ... important ... things. Like mice and friends and ultimate frisbee. In other words, the things that make life fun. We in the band have a common goal to make football games, basketball games, parades, and other bandish activities more fun for us and for everyone else involved.

Wait, that was just too much cheese. Please excuse us while we get out of our BS mode. There, that's much better.

Basically this site is all about band: band pictures, band peoples' sites, band mentality, and we're even planning on including our band music! Also, soon to appear here, will be helpful tips and rules that rinkies will especially appreciate (or at least they should appreciate them).

We discovered something at the Homecoming game against State College:
You can take the nerd out of the band, but you can't take the band out of the nerd.
It's true!



We are currently in the process of totally revamping this website (as our little guy in the top corner indicates) so keep checking back. Besides, we're always adding to it even when it's not technically under construction.
When viewing this site, all of the pages should have our band website mascot, Fido the Friendly Dog running across the bottom. Just pet him and he'll lead you home (in other words, click on him - he's a link that brings you back to this page).

I know all you band people know the songs, but a lot
of people who aren't in our band visit this site (imagine that)
so it's for their benefit too. Not that they're interested.
But hey, they're here. They must be interested in something.
You can now hear the songs if you want.
I'm so proud, I made it work all by myself!
