Materials:
Size H crochet hook
ch 50 loosely
Row 1 (sc, 2 dc in second ch from the hook, * skip the next 2 chs, (sc 2dc) in the next dc; repeat from * across to the last 3 chs, sc in the last ch
Row 2 Ch 1, turn; ( sc, 2dc ) in the first sc and in each sc across to the last sc. Sc in the last sc.
Repeat row 2 until piece is desired size; do not finish off.
Border
Rnd 1. ch 1, sc in same sp. sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2. Ch 7, dc in the 4th ch from the hook, dc in the same st as joining, skip the next 3 sc, * dc in the next sc, ch 4, dc in 4th ch from the hook, dc in same sc, skip next 3 sc; repeat from * around; join with sp st to the 3rd ch of beginning ch 7, finish off.
