On Thursday January 18, 2001 the 1988 Toyta Celica had its final voyage. It seemed like a good night. Smitty and Jonelle were driving home from class at the wonderful University of Pittsburgh. Well it was not raining, there was no snow, and Smitty was not going fast, however the roads were slick. Smitty loked and saw a lady stopped in front of him. He decided to stop also. Well the Celica had a different idea. It slid the whole damn way into the back of the lady causeing damage of $250 covered completely by insurence. As the Picture on the bottom left shows the collision did not involve the bumper at all. So the celica is destroyed. This car was the best skating/snowboarding mobile in East Mckeesport, and although this was debated many times over the lack of back seat room was ok. It was a time for coping and moving on with life. This car will be missed. And although everyone will get over it, you never forget your first car, or how you lost it. -Smitty
