The Goodwill Fire Company Provides Fire Coverage for the Borough of Minersville along with Mutual Aid Coverage for surrounding townships. Engine 514 is a 1982 American LaFrance 1250 g.p.m. pumper that was completely refurbished in 1998.
Emergency Services for the Borough of Minersville first started in the early 1900's when the good will purchased there first ambulance. Currently the Company covers The entire Minersville Borough and parts of Cass, Branch, Norwegian and Foster Townships. The company currently operates 2 Pennsylvania State Certified Ambulances.
QRS stands for Quick Response Service. This is a new service starting at the Goodwill Fire Company. Incase of an emergency and both ambulances are unavailable, Engine 514 will be dispatched to the residence with qualified personal to handle the emergency until an ambulance arrives.
MCI stands for Mutli-Casualty Incident. In the western part of Schuylkill County the Goodwill Fire Company will respond in an emergency situation when requested to help out when there are more than 6 patients whom need treatment.
