Waiting for the bus!






During the winter months busses are sometimes late. One of my students would have to come back inside the building to wait for the bus to arrive since it was just too cold outside. He did not understand what was happening and just wanted to go home. Trying to explain to him that it was too cold outside was not working so I made this mini schedule for him. From the first day we used it, the tantrums stopped.





When my student waits for the bus he is given a "wait box" containing paper, books, crayons, etc. This keeps him busy while waiting.
