The Rangers are a tough subject to talk about. They seem to have the shooting and skating talent and the ability to get goals but they seem to lack the ability to play defensive enough to get their goaltender to the playoffs.
It is not that this team doesn't have the talent needed to win the Cup, it is just that they have had one of the worst chemistry outfits in the National Hockey League for years. The Rangers haven't been able to work together and last season
was a perfect exaple of this. The team had two of the leagues top skaters and scores in Lindros and Pavel Bure but still lost their playoff dreams weeks before the season even ended. This team has brand new faces in the locker room this year and the
brand new defense will probably prevail early in the season, but we still don't see the Rangers winning the cup for many years to come.
