St. Patrick's Parish in San Antonio, Texas is located near downtown San Antonio.
In 1882 the diocese of San Antonio erected a small building, close to the army post, Ft. Sam Houston. That building served as a place to offer Mass and religious instruction until the first parish church was built in 1895.
The church was rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1922.
In the year 2000 we celebrated the renovation of our church, which included the addition, at the back of the church, of a Blessed Sacrament Chapel, now used for Eucharistic Adoration. On March 17, 2003 our parish dedicated The Holy Family Memorial Prayer Garden. The Garden features a Rosary walk. It is a beautiful place where anyone can pray and meditate on the great mysteries of Our Lady's Rosary. Our Pastor Rev. Archie M. Tacay CICM>
