You are sitting at your desk, trying to mark papers. The bell has twenty minutes until it screams your freedom. The children are finished their work and your suggestion of "silent play" is quickly being hi-jacked by the sounds of screams, laughter and the occassional whimpers of 30 children.
"WOOOOOOOSHHHHH!!"
There goes a gliding-vessel of paper, just missing you as it hits the board. Lego is being recklessly tossed about the classroom, children are throwing rainbows of paint, the classroom walls are caving in and the ceiling is falling onto you!!!!
The intense pain moves to your head as it throbs and aches, until you feel like you are about to......
EXPLODE!!!!
This is a typical classroom. These are typical children and this is a typical classroom situation that you are bound to find yourself in, one of these long and drawn-out days.
But this is easily combatted.
Choose your path. Activities are divided by key learning areas and stages, so have fun!
