I am not into opera at all, but this next clip (which is unfortunately very short) is simply beautiful. The singer is the Italian Emma Shapplin and the song is "Spente le stelle". It is a mixture of modern pop music with opera. The result is quite delightful. I have also seen the video and liked it.
The next one is also a soundtrack. It is from my favorite movie "il postino". Unfortunately i could only find short clips. The soundtrack is so powerful, it can make you feel happy in the beginning of the movie, and bring you in tears at the end. Click on the picture to hear the theme song. The other clips are Pablo Neruda's poems recited by celebrities such as Sting, Madonna and julia Roberts.
For the sake of updating this page, I have decided to put a Remix of Bjork's Bachelorette here. Although the original is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard, the remix is not nearly as good. It has almost deleted all the good parts of the song, and left the bad parts! Anyways
