Double-D Boxing represents some of New Mexico's most exciting Professional Boxers. Trainer Dan Cushner has returned to the squared circle and represents 2 of New Mexico's promising professional boxers. Dan has worked with many crowd pleasing favorites in the past including, VINNY PONZIO, DAVID REID, MARK "King Cobra" FERNANDEZ, TYRONE CASTEL and others. Dan has also worked as cutman/second for, J.C. CANDELO, JOE "King" ROMAN & DANIEL "Pit Bull" PEREZ, and has been called "The Best Damn Cut Man in New Mexico" by none other than former World Light Heavyweight Champion and Hall-of-Famer BOB FOSTER!

Dan Cushner also trained Amateur Star CHARLES "Machine Gun" CARTER who was favored to win a Gold Medal in the Moscow Olympic Games which were boycotted by the USA. Mr. Cushner has teamed up with former writer for Flash/Boxing Update- "The Boxing Guru" - Dan Sisneros to bring you "Double-D Boxing"!

Amateurs JUNIOR ESTRADA & CHRIS SANCHEZ continue to do well. Both scored victories at the May 2012 show in Albuquerque!

Double-D Boxing welcomes new partner Bo Brumble former amateur standout from Seattle and manager/trainer of Kenny Ellis, former IBC jr. middlewt champion. "Bo is a very welcome and much needed asset to the Double D Boxing team" says Dan.

Enrique Palomino 135 lb 2-0 as amateur fighting again on the pro/Am show at Sky City casino Oct. 24th. Dan is very high on Enrique and says "if dedication and hard work still matter, Enrique can't miss".







Big Night for Double D Boxing!
Enrique Palomino scores a 3rd round stoppage at the Sky City Card, and Luis Trevizo wins his debut bout with a 2nd round stoppage! Enrique is now 3-0 at 132 Lbs. Luis now 1-0 in the 125 Lb. Division!

Jayla Ortiz(L) battles Adriana Delgado to win the New Mexico State Bantamweight Title!


Jayla was a veteran of over 20 professional bouts. She held the New Mexico State Bantamweight title, fought for a World Title, and fought on ESPN2. She was a terrific athlete who could really box!

118 Pounder Steve Cannell spent some time in Santa Fe, NM USA from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada to train with Dan Cushner for his PRO DEBUT! Steve is a good pressure fighter with back to back wins at the Goff Memorial Tournament vs. Team USA. He's recently ventured down to Las Cruces NM to spar with Professional RICKY VASQUEZ(1-0), and former NABO Champion ANTONIO ESCALANTE!
