This all began
around April 1974, not long after the notorious volume #9 of the Yipster
Times came out blaring out the truth about the JFK assassination, that
Watergate bunglers, Frank Sturgis and Howard Hunt killed the President as he
rode thru the streets of Dallas, Texas.
The Yippies had a
party at their hq at 9 Bleecker St in NYC...it wasn't just a bash celebrating
the baring of the facts! It was being held to drum up support for the May 18
Smoke-in. Little did we know that a chance encounter with Bill Deppermann would
have a profound effect on the people in the movement and on the qualty of life
around NYC.
Deppermann, who claimed to have been kicked out of med school for pot, showed up
allegedly expressing an interest in the JFK assassination. Isabel Loudig (aka
Bozabel), a greasy-haired reject from West Germany tagged along to the party.I
noticed he was bizarre and rather repulsive in plain sight. His voice sounded
like an Iowa pig farmer who kept slipping in the mud, face-first.
Deppermann, soon started coming around #9 and AJ Weberman's apartments
professing a serious interest in the photos of the assassins that were to be
featured in a forthcoming book, COUP D'ETAT IN AMERICA. Soon, the Diap
started to reveal his shortcomings...He would rant and rave, that ANYONE WHO
DISAGREED WITH HIM WAS A CIA AGENT!!!He even alleged that 3 writers who were
affiliated with the Yipster Times were CIA agents!
AJ and the Yippies soon began to realize that Deppermann, who trashed the local
Assassination Information Committee was somewhat akin to a malignant tumor.
He posted stickers promoting the book on the windows of book stores, which
pissed off store owners who wouldn't carry the book as a result. The Diap would
rant on and on as if he was an authority on the assassination. The group then
began to realize that he was to known thereafter as the Deppermouth!!
While AJ and his co-author, Mike Canfield travelled in a van to promote the
book, Deppermann rented the auditorium of the Society of Ethical Culture for a
sham of a rally. The rally was supposed to reveal the hard evidence on the
involvement of Hunt and Sturgis in the Coup D'Etat.
Instead, Depperman rapped nonsense about Hunt's ear..causing the audience to
walk out. Soon he was banned from #9 for being an idiot...
A few weeks later, West Coast researcher Mae Brusell was speaking at the Elgin
Theater. Depperman tried to ram his shit down the throats of Mae's audience. 4
people got up and carried him out of the theater.
Depperman, soon began to put out his own "literature" denouncing the
Yippies as "CIA agents."
Also this was around the time, he dropped off a copy of the Yipster Times
at the local offices of the FBI, which was in a document received by the Yippies
in spring 1978 from the FBI under the Freedom Of Information Act. The Yips
noticed that the name of the snitch was not totally obscured by the magic
marker...One noticed an "nn" preceeded by a "D". It was
determined that Deppermann was the snitch! The Feds sent us this document just
before a Smoke-In so when Deppermann showed up a squad of Yippies attacked the
Diap. One Yip would have killed the Diap had we not pulled him off. Diap was
yelling uncle but this dude was still wailing. The YIPS saved the Diap's life.
The Feds were getting sick of the Diap, I mean they handled some obnoxious
informants, but the Diap was the worst.
The Deppermonster tried to recruit teens from Washington Square Park into his
own counter-gang whose aims may have been to attack the Yippies. However, these
kids met at the Diap apartment, then came back and burglarized the place. When
that failed and the Dep began to resort to attacking his adversaries. He would
use "diaper rash",which was posted on walls throughout NYC, attacking
the Yippies and AJ Weberman. The stupid Daffyman would allege that AJ who spent
thousands of man-hours researching the evidence was supressing his own book.
The Diaperman (named for his infantile tendencies), used his diaperrash to
spread the bullshit about a total media blackout. He also physically attacked
Aron Kay, Dana Beal,and Bob Fass (breaking his nose).
Deppermann made a showing at the 1977 July 4th smoke-in in Washington, DC, which
spawned the ring around the diaper. Deppermann attacked Aron Kay which resulted
in a sympathizer giving it to the Dope's ribs with a tire iron.
The ring around the diaper reappeared at the fall 78 smoke-in. The crowd ran him
and his cohort, Brainless, out of the park. The next day, Ted Allendorf, now a
college professor, launched his war against the Dipe. The Dipe was chased out of
the park by Ted and his friends after being showered with saliva.
Meanwhile, AJ and Aron charged Deppermann with menacing for pulling a knife on
him. His trial was rather amusing since he represented himself and had a fool
for a client! The dejected informant would ask patheitc questios..for example he
asked Aron Kay, how long did he serve in the CIA? It resulted in an
"unorthodox trial" to say the least, but DA Roig rose to the occassion...
Depperamn was convicted by a jury of "CIA agents".
Anyway, Easter 1979, was a rather fun day since the Yippies had a Diaperman to
kick around. Depperman and his clones were in Washington Square Park. Dr.
Allendorf noticed that the park had diaper vibes..AJ and the Yips immediately
went to the park to harass him. They were spat on, heckled and egged. The cops
took in the Diaperman and his clone, Joel for the night, instead of the Yippies,

breaks up or in Diap's case, disrupts Leftwing, Union, Anti-War, demonstrations

The purpose of the fake “left” is to monopolize, monitor and mislead the opposition and keep the masses diverted from the real solution—Socialist Revolution in the United States and the World—by always in practice leading their well-meaning but befuddled members to believe that capitalism can reform itself, which is not possible. The fake “left” also covers up the central issue, crucial to building and organizing support for a new system based on human need not private profit, namely that there was no “collapse of the Soviet Union,” but a rather surrender to the threat of a nuclear war! See what? See nothing! So far the capitalists have succeeded in their deception and misleadership. This is because of the present Correlation of Class Forces. Once again it is vital to remember that all wars are won and lost on moral and every movement begins with the call! Let’s not permit the capitalists to keep us demoralized and divided. Genuine Communist organization is what counts and we must begin to organize everywhere.
