Westerly Sun, The (RI) - April 29, 2001 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deceased Name: FRANK J. FERRIGNO Frank John Ferrigno, 48, of Hanks Hill Rd., Storrs, Conn., husband of Deborah (Hoerle) Ferrigno, died Saturday morning, April 28, 2001, at home after an extended illness and complications from diabetes and Lyme disease. Mr. Ferrigno was also a former resident of Westerly. Born Feb. 27, 1953, in Hartford, he was a 1971 graduate of Windham High School and also graduated from UConn School of Business in 1975. Frank was the president of his company, Trade Craftsmen Builders, and built many homes in the Tolland and Windham county areas over the past 25 years. He was a member of the Willimantic Elks Lodge No. 1311, the Chapter No. 44, Order of the Eastern Star; the Norwich Lodge AF&AM, the Norwich Power Squadron and the Fin, Fur and Feather Club. Frank loved hunting; his Labradors, Botsie and Teal, and seeing the world on ocean cruises. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 7-year-old daughter, Andrea, his 5-1/2 year- old-son Michael, and his father Dr. Frank Ferrigno, a retired Windham veterinarian. He was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth (Hallock) Ferrigno. He is also survived by two uncles, and aunt, several cousins and his godmother, Mary Josephs of Willimantic. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, Conn., (Rte. 195, 1/2 mile south of Rte. 6) on Monday from. 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel, 46 North Eagleville Rd., Storrs, with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in the Storrs Cemetery.
