A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, in St. Clair Catholic Church for Kimberly Carol McEachern, who died Feb. 16 of Lyme disease at age 42. Miss McEachern was born Nov. 22, 1957, in Portland. She graduated from Beaverton High School in 1976, and from Simon Frasier University in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1985. She was a commercial artist for several companies and a label designer for Poppers Supply for several years. She then owned Designers Envy, a perfume company that manufactured "Portland Rose" fragrance, for a couple of years in the early 1990s. She lived in Redmond three years. Survivors include her father, Robert G.; mother, Carol J. Byerly; and brother, Mark. Private interment will be in Mt. View Memorial Gardens in Forest Grove. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity.
