Jamie Forschner, the 5-year-old Tolland boy whose lifelong affliction with Lyme disease was the inspiration for a nationwide foundation to combat the illness, has died.
Burial will be Tuesday in Towaco, N.J.
A memorial service will be held June 29 at the Congregational Church in Tolland.
The boy died Friday at the Jersey Shore Hospital in Neptune, N.J., of cerebral hypertension, a complication from the disease he had at birth.
