Need Money to Raise Children?
Kids cost money. They need to eat, go to school, play, and live to see their future. It is all enough to send anyone into debt. Now, imagine being poor and having next to nothing. That just makes everything worse. I could not deal with raising a child without much money. The pressure and the stress would just drive me crazy. Also, I would feel like a failure for not being able to provide for my child. I just would not be able to cope with it all.
Poor families in the US have to battle with being poor and struggling to make ends meet for their children. America used to be a proud and rich country. However in recent years, the country has fallen on hard economic times. Nobody knows how or when things will turn around for the better in the future. That is just as tough for a family in poverty. Plus, some people are too proud to turn for help at times. When they fall into a terrible financial situation, they become embarrassed. Rather than turning to close friends for help, they try their best to hold it all together by themselves. That does not always work; the end results are in ruins and are worse than it already was in the beginning. Yet, that is not always the case. Maybe, the parents do not know who to turn to for help or they do not have anybody at all. Either way, trying to manage alone with small children in need only seems to make problems worse. However, it does not have to go down this path.
The key to ending poverty is education. I want to do this on my S-L experience is tutoring. My strongest subjects are be English and little bit of history. If I help a kid learn something in school, his or her chances of poverty will decrease greatly. Education is the key to saving everything. The more someone knows about how to do things such as reading and writing, the better he or she will have the chance at getting a better job and providing for his or her family. Lives will be much better the more people learn and know.
