As you go through tenth grade, you’ll have to take English II as a
course.
You might end up with Mrs. Geldof as your teacher. Well, here are some
words
of wisdom if you do.
First off, Mrs. Geldof likes Harry Potter and is interested in the
Holocaust.
She has three Harry Potter posters hanging in her room and a calendar
as
well. You will have one unit dealing with the Holocaust when you read
the
novel Night. When you are on the Night unit, you get to watch films on
the Holocaust to accommodate the book. Pay close attention, you might
learn
something.
Second fact, Mrs. Geldof sells candy in her classroom. Each bar costs one dollar a piece. So bring your money to class every day if you want candy. Also be good while the substitute is in class. For when Mrs. Geldof returns, she gives the class candy as a reward. Oh and when you answer questions correctly, the teacher will occasionally give you candy as a reward. Being in her class is so sweet.
Finally, Mrs. Geldof is sophisticated with reading. You are required to label your assignments and never use the words “good” or “bad.” She prefers you to use the words “positive” or “negative.”
If you end up with Mrs. Geldof, learn something and enjoy her class. You won’t regret it.
