Shameless Murder

The snake crawls
peacefully across the carpet

Then,

Her long silver heel comes
down on the poor creature
like an axe

Slowly suffocating it before
it had a chance to bite
her

Seconds felt like hours

Finally,

She looks down to see the
poor soul almost beheaded

Sympathy and remorse don't
know her

She coyly smiles and says,

"Whoops,"

And walks away
