Here at Planet Porcellio, I specialize in the Terrestrial Isopod Porcellio scaber, as well as many other species of Isopods, mealworms, caterpillars and other feeders. Some of the insects and animnals you'll find here are not sold anywhere else (at the moment). Though I will focus on Isopods, there is also information on the other animals that are available. Isopods are great scavengers, and they've been known to keep terrariums clean and free of fungus, and keep mite populations to a minimum. Isopods also are good feeders for some amphibians, spiders and other animals. The interesting color morphs that can be selectively bred, make your cleaning crew more attractive, like "hidden jewels" throughout the enclosure.
