Interview

I interviewed 3 people of various ages.

I asked them each a series of questions and here are their responses.

1)What really happened to the Dodo?
a. Um, well it just died. Evolution. It was no longer like needed in the world. 20 yr old male.
b. The Europeans killed it. They came to the island and hunted it until it disappeared. 60 woman.
c. The Dodo? <---initial reaction. Oh well I guess they just died out. I mean was there evidence of a meteor like with the dinosaurs? 15 yr old male.

2)Do you think we are more aware about the exinct animals or less?
a. I'm not sure we are more aware, but I think we know a lot quicker or at least for our area.
b. I think we could me more aware, but there is at least a little more activism going on.
c. Uh sure, I guess.
^ don't think he knew.

3)What more could we do for the animals?
a. I guess we could not litter or um possibly set up more animal reserves. I mean I like animals and whatnot it would be sad to see them gone.
b. Well we could all donate to wildlife funds. Animals are precious to us and we need to protect the ones we have left before its too late.
c. Um, not liter or pour oil down the drain.

4) What do you do for animals?
a. Slow down when I see a deer on the road.
b. Well I make donations to the World Wildlife Federation. I have adopted dogs and cats that have nowhere else to go. I drive cautiously in areas I know there are animals.
c. My mom cuts the rings on soda cans.

So while one kid probably might not have wanted to talk, one was just unaware and one knew her stuff....
